This assembly features a six-inch cold-formed steel stud wall positioned at the edge of a metal deck floor system. A continuous fourteen-gauge minimum closure plate spans over at least two flutes of the metal deck and is secured with number twelve self-tapping screws spaced at twelve inches on center. A pour stop and closure plate, provided by the deck supplier, is installed at the slab edge to contain the concrete. The top of the slab is referenced per the floor plan, while the bottom of the deck elevation varies.
