A steel joist girder bears into a pocket formed within a concrete tilt-up wall panel, utilizing an embedded L6x4x3/4 by one-foot-two-inch angle secured with three three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch headed stud anchors and two three-quarter-inch diameter by twenty-four-inch deformed bar anchors. A continuous L3x3x1/4 deck edge angle supports the metal roof deck at the top of the wall with a one-inch clearance. Additional vertical reinforcing includes two extra number six bars located between the stud anchors at the beam pocket, while vertical reinforcement is terminated where the joist pocket interferes. A stiffened angle L3x3x3/8 by ten inches with two half-inch stiffener plates connects the assembly with quarter-inch welds on three sides. Below, an L6x4x3/4 by nine-inch angle bears against the panel and is left unwelded to the stabilizer, anchored by a three-eighths by six-inch by ten-inch plate with two three-quarter-inch diameter headed stud anchors.
