An L4x4x5/16 angle brace is connected at each end using three-eighths-inch gusset plates with two three-quarter-inch-diameter bolts. A one-quarter-inch fillet weld secures the plate connections where indicated. The contractor has the option to provide field welds developing equivalent capacity to the field bolts shown.
