A skewed wide-flange beam frames into a wide-flange column using a five-eighth-inch full-depth skewed shear tab on each side. Four seven-eighth-inch high-strength bolts fasten the connection through a plate. Five-eighth-inch full-depth stiffener plates are provided on each side of the beam web, welded with five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds on three sides typically. A skewed wide-flange column rests on a base plate at the work point. Concrete and steel deck are not shown.
