This assembly utilizes specialized lintel blocks to create a reinforced beam within a masonry wall. Horizontal steel reinforcement bars are placed within the recessed channel of the lintel blocks. Vertical steel reinforcement bars extend upward from the wall below, intersecting the horizontal steel within the grouted core of the masonry units. The entire assembly is designed to be filled with grout to encapsulate the steel and provide structural continuity.
