A pipe penetrates a reinforced concrete member with a required minimum vertical clearance of four inches above and below the penetration. The pipe is wrapped with one inch of foam insulation. Two number five bars at six feet zero inches serve as side bars at each face flanking the penetration. Continuous bottom reinforcing bars run along the member with a minimum clearance of six inches.
