A cast-in-place concrete curb anchors to a structural slab with a construction joint at the base. The assembly is reinforced with a continuous number five bar at the top and vertical number four bars spaced at ten inches on center. Additional vertical hook bars are spaced at nine inches when the curb depth exceeds ten inches, or at twelve inches when the depth is less than or equal to ten inches. Alternate hooks are provided where possible extending into the structural slab. The maximum depth dimension is specified as two feet six inches with a width denoted as T.
