A mitered corner connection for a steel channel stringer supports a stair landing. The channel members are mitered at the corner and joined with a five-sixteenths-inch fillet weld, and all exterior welded surfaces are ground smooth and flush. Architectural drawings are referenced for the specific guardrail and landing material configuration. The channel stringer layout must be coordinated with the framing plan.
