A cold-formed steel framed opening for a maximum width of nine feet. The header assembly consists of a 600S200-68 stud member framed between upper and lower 600T150-54 tracks, with a 6-inch cripple matching the jamb fastened using four number-eight screws. A 600T150-54 by zero-foot-four-inch stiffener attaches to the jamb using four number-eight screws on each leg and eight number-eight screws directly to the 600S250-68 jamb. An angle measuring 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 by 54-mil by zero-foot-5 1/2 inches is fastened with three number-eight screws on each leg. The sill connects to the jamb using either a 1/4-inch diameter by 2 1/2-inch embedment KH-EZ or a 1/4-inch diameter by 2-inch embedment Titen HD anchor with a minimum 3-inch edge distance.
