Protective bollards are positioned at a minimum distance of two feet from concrete equipment foundations or trenches. Dimension A establishes the maximum spacing from the protected piping or equipment, limited to three feet six inches for natural gas and ammonia systems, and five feet maximum for all other locations. Each bollard requires a dedicated foundation sized per plan.
