A new concrete wall connects to an existing precast concrete panel matching the existing wall thickness. Number 4 reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way provide continuous reinforcement across the assembly. Three-quarter-inch diameter holes are drilled into the existing precast panel to receive number 5 dowel bars secured with Simpson SET-3G epoxy per ESR-4057. A two-foot-zero-inch lap splice bridges the new and existing reinforcement within the concrete pour.
