The detail illustrates the connection of a concrete-filled metal deck resting adjacent to a W24x68 wide flange steel beam. A deck support angle is welded or attached to the beam web to support the metal deck, and a bent plate is referenced at the top flange level. This configuration provides a stable edge support condition for composite floor systems.
