An embed base plate features four anchor holes and a rectangular profile aligned to structural grid lines. Six reinforcing bars are equally spaced vertically across a span of one foot eleven inches, while ten reinforcing bars are equally spaced horizontally. The bar lengths are determined by the buckling-restrained brace supplier with a minimum length of one foot seven and one-half inches. Edge distances measure two inches and two and one-half inches typically around the plate periphery.
