A suspended piping assembly is anchored against lateral and longitudinal movement. A vibration isolator attaches to the overhead structure above a threaded rod hanger connected to a pipe hanger securing the piping. The vertical hanger rod is reinforced with a rod stiffener angle attached via three rod-to-angle clamps per rod, featuring a snubber plate for an up stop and maintaining a maximum one-quarter inch clearance. Diagonal cables installed slack are anchored to the structure using bolts or concrete anchors and connect to the assembly with swivel connections at both ends and cable clamps, positioned at approximately forty-five degrees. A cross-sectional inset shows the clamping arrangement of the threaded rod and rod stiffener angle.
