Two parallel lines of staggered fasteners secure adjoining panel edges along a four-inch nominal framing member. The edge distance is set to one-half inch, with three-quarter inch spacing between fastener rows and a minimum gap of three-eighths inch between the lines. An adjoining panel edge note requires an one-eighth inch gap between pieces of sheathing at the time of installation rather than at nail inspection. Fastener spacing along the rows is variable per plan.
