Steel joists bear on a central steel girder and support metal roof deck above. An L4x4x3/8 angle member and a 3/8" x 3" x 0'-4" plate tie the assembly together using three-quarter-inch diameter bolts. The connection detail provides lateral stability between the roof joists and the supporting girder.
