A reinforced concrete slab on composite metal deck bears on a steel beam. A continuous 5/16-inch bent plate matches the slab depth and is secured with 3/16-inch fillet welds at 12 inches on center, staggered. The slab anchors to the beam via 1/2-inch diameter by 30-inch long deformed bar anchors at 24 inches on center and headed studs per plans. An SSB3.518 clip connects the beam to the cold-formed steel stud wall below, fastened with two number 14 shoulder screws to the stud and two 0.157-inch by 5/8-inch shot pins to the beam. Wall framing consists of 800S200-68 studs at 16 inches on center, with a T250 slotted slip track at the top and a T125 track at the roof deck interface, both attached with number 10 screws on each side and 0.157-inch by 1-inch shot pins at 6 inches on center. A continuous L3x3x1/4 angle terminates the deck, and the bent plate connection to the beam allows for shop or field welding.
