A reinforced concrete grade beam features a pipe penetration through the middle third with one-inch foam wrapping around the sleeve. Reinforcement consists of number four bars at twelve inches on center placed above and below the sleeve, supplemented by additional stirrup sets on each side of the opening. A separate detail defines the no penetration zone bounded by forty-five degree spread lines extending from column supports or wall ends. Maximum pipe size is twelve inches with larger pipes requiring contact with the architect or engineer.
