Baseplate Type C features a rectangular steel plate centered on structural grid lines with surrounding reinforcing steel dowels. The assembly includes six bars spaced evenly along the one-foot ten-inch vertical dimension and ten bars spaced evenly along the horizontal dimension with an eleven-inch spacing offset. The reinforcing bars extend to a minimum length of one foot seven and one-half inches as required by the buckling-restrained braced frame supplier. Edge clearances measure two inches typical on all sides.
