Steel roof deck panels bear on supporting joists or steel beams with five-eighths inch diameter puddle welds placed per structural notes. Deck sheets lap four inches at interior bearings and are secured with one and one-half inch long top seam welds along their longitudinal joints. Edge closures match the gauge of the deck and fasten to edge members using number ten screws spaced at four inches on center. Exterior and parallel edge conditions anchor the corrugated panels to perimeter edge members with puddle welds.
