A steel beam supports a concrete-filled metal floor deck on one side and a metal roof deck on the other, bridged by a continuous L5x3x1/4 angle welded with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. A concrete curb is located eight inches maximum from the beam centerline where indicated by architectural drawings. One-half-inch diameter deformed bar anchors are spaced at eighteen inches on center along the assembly. The metal roof deck abuts the continuous angle to form the deck transition.
