An eight-inch concrete masonry unit wall anchors parallel cold-formed steel framing consisting of an 800T150-54 track member secured with two rows of 0.157-inch diameter power-driven pins at eight inches on center. An S/HDU4 hold-down spaced at forty-eight inches on center connects to the wall using a five-eighths-inch diameter anchor bolt. A 3x3x16-gauge by six-inch angle with four number 10 sheet metal screws on each leg provides additional support. A 400T150-54 blocking member with associated straps continues eight feet minimum from the outside face of the masonry wall.
