Four standard reinforcement configuration types display typical reinforcing bar layouts with type "a" typical reinforcement ties. Each type indicates the arrangement of vertical reinforcing bars and overlapping or hooked ties at the top of the assembly. The diagrams illustrate progressive grouping from two to five vertical reinforcement units.
