The cut track option requires cutting the track to allow extension of flanges for connection with two number ten screws, along with bending a portion of the web down and fastening to the jamb with three number ten screws. The clip angle option uses an L2x2 clip angle sized not less than one inch smaller than the stud depth, fastened with three number ten screws in each leg to the track and jamb studs. Both options utilize a track with a one and one half inch flange matching the typical wall stud gauge and jamb studs sized per plan. Details can be inverted for the head track condition.
