An edge closure of the same gauge as the metal deck sits parallel over the supporting edge member. The edge closure is secured to the supporting steel angle edge member with five-eighths inch diameter puddle welds sized per structural notes. Number 10 screws fasten the deck and closure together at four inches on center.
