A concrete slab on grade and exterior slab meet above a concrete wall supported by a concrete footing. Horizontal wall reinforcement and vertical wall dowels match the vertical wall reinforcement requirements, with surfaces roughened to one-quarter inch amplitude at construction joints. Continuous reinforcement is provided at the top and bottom of the concrete slab.
