A stair stringer provided by the stair manufacturer connects to a concrete slab edge. A continuous L6x4x3/8 angle with long leg vertical is embedded or anchored at the slab edge. Galvanized #5 reinforcing bars at two feet zero inches on center with a twelve-inch embedment tie the angle back into the slab, with additional slab reinforcement sized per plan. A one-quarter-inch fillet weld connects the stringer assembly to the embedded angle. The slab thickness and edge dimensions are sized per plan.
