This structural plan detail shows an elevator guide rail base plate connection anchored over two inches of non-shrink grout. The assembly consists of a one-inch thick ASTM A572 Grade 50 base plate with gusset plates and stiffener plates. Four total one-inch diameter ASTM F1554 Grade 55 threaded rods with six-inch projection above the footing are secured through one-and-five-sixteenths-inch diameter holes with double nuts at the top and a single nut below the plate. Additional components include three-and-a-half-inch square top and bottom plates with standard holes, air holes matching the diameter of the anchor bolt holes, and stiffener plates located along the elevator edge where applicable.
