This assembly connects a 6-inch by 6-inch by 5/8-inch hollow structural section steel member to a tilt-up concrete panel. The connection utilizes an embed plate, identified as EP-7 per the plate key, cast into the concrete panel. A continuous angle, sized per framing details, is welded to the hollow structural section with a 3/4-inch fillet weld applied to three sides. The hollow structural section is further secured to the embed plate assembly with a 3/4-inch fillet weld.
