Reinforcing requirements for concrete masonry unit wall lintels across different span conditions. Spans from zero to five feet require an eight-inch deep lintel, spans from five to eight feet require a sixteen-inch deep lintel, and spans from eight to twelve feet require a twenty-four-inch deep lintel. Two fifteen-millimeter minimum bars serve as bottom reinforcing, supplemented by vertical reinforcing as detailed on the structural drawings.
