An HSS 6" x 6" x 3/8" support post is connected to a steel grade beam by others using four 3/4-inch-diameter A325 bolts. A W14 cross member frames into the web member, with support locations spaced per the architect. A possible kicker is provided where it occurs, featuring stiffener plates and welded connections.
