A concrete curb is anchored to a supporting concrete slab with epoxy-set reinforcing dowels. The curb width ranges from four inches minimum to eight inches maximum, with a variable height between four and twelve inches. Continuous number four reinforcing bars run longitudinally through the curb with eighteen-inch by eighteen-inch corner bends or equivalent dowels. Number four vertical dowels are set in epoxy at twenty-four inches on center into the underlying slab. Additional transverse reinforcement uses number four bars spaced at twenty-four inches on center each way for curb heights under six inches, and twelve inches on center each way for heights exceeding six inches, maintaining one-inch minimum clearance.
