A cross-laminated timber roof panel bears on a glued-laminated timber beam with a weak axis overhang condition. The panel is fastened to the supporting member using inclined 0.230-inch diameter by 6-inch and 11-inch fully threaded screws. A Simpson Strong-Tie SCBH connector with manufacturer-specified fasteners ties the double beam assembly together per plan. A Douglas fir plug is provided to conceal the connection and match the surrounding glulam appearance.
