The assembly features a concrete slab supported by a metal deck over a structural steel beam, reinforced with welded wire reinforcement and continuous reinforcing bars. A sawcut control joint is detailed at a maximum six-inch spacing from the beam centerline with continuous welded wire reinforcement running through the joint. Additional details include a bent plate with welded deformed bar anchors spaced at one foot on center, and continuous five-bar reinforcing at the deck perpendicular and parallel to the beam. Chair supports are provided at a maximum thirty-six-inch spacing with three-quarter-inch clearance at the steel beam and one-inch clearance elsewhere. The housekeeping slab and associated adhesive anchors are installed per mechanical contractor specifications with dowels located in the center of the flute.
