A concrete slab on metal deck connects to a tilt-up concrete wall at an overhead coiling door opening. The slab rests on a steel beam, which attaches to the tilt-up panel via a continuous three-eighths inch bent plate with horizontal slots at each PSA slotted insert location. Three-quarter inch diameter bolts at each insert are finger-tightened and tack-welded to the nut to allow for movement. A continuous five-sixteenths inch thick by three-inch by three-inch bent plate anchors to the tilt-up panel with one-half inch diameter by six-inch headed anchor studs spaced at one foot on center. PSA slotted inserts are spaced at a maximum of forty-eight inches on center, positioned vertically so the bolt sits one inch from the top of the slot. The tilt-up panel sill is sloped, and the manufacturer provides post-installed connections for the overhead coiling door.
