An open-web steel joist bearing end connects to a steel beam supported by a steel column with a steel cap plate. The joist bearing end features two 1/2-inch diameter erection bolts. A stabilizer plate attaches to the column and joist bottom chord, left unwelded to the girder unless noted otherwise. Fillet welds of 3/16-inch and 1/8-inch sizes secure the structural members and plates. Steel decking spans across the top of the assembly.
