An L4x4 brace connects to a three-eighths-inch stiffener plate that is skewed to align the brace, welded with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld on three sides typically. A three-eighths-inch full height stiffener plate reinforces the web, accompanied by a three-eighths-inch stiffener plate under bearing and a three-quarter-inch plate measuring six inches by one foot zero inches. The assembly interfaces with the precast concrete panel top flange.
