A davit socket pedestal is mounted on a 3/4-inch by 12-inch square minimum plate supported by a W12x19 member framing back to a corner column. A W12x26 diagonal brace connects back to the structural framing with a moment connection at each end unless noted otherwise. Beams are sized per plan and tied into the column grid.
