This structural connection detail shows a steel channel perimeter framing member joined to hollow structural section beams and an HSS post. The steel channel is welded at corners with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld and tied back to framing per plan. An HSS beam frames into an HSS post with three-sixteenths inch welds, supporting a metal deck above as specified in the framing plan. Field welds are indicated with field-weld symbols along the channel and post connections.
