An L4x3 1/2x3/8 angle with long leg vertical connects to a three-eighths inch plate welded against the web and flange of a supporting structural steel beam. A one-quarter inch fillet weld secures the assembly with specified dimensional clearances including a three inch maximum vertical distance and a minimum offset equal to half the flange width from the centerline.
