Metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center are framed into a bottom wall track sized to match the wall studs. The bottom track is anchored to the concrete floor slab or curb using Hilti X-32P8S36 powder driven pins measuring one and one-quarter inches long with a zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter shank, spaced at sixteen inches on center per ICC ESR-2269, with fastener penetration limited to one-third of the slab thickness. The metal studs are secured to the bottom wall track using number-eight self-drilling screws on each stud, each side.
