Cold-formed steel stud framing attaches to the overhead substrate using zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter powder-actuated fasteners at specified embedment and on-center spacing. A continuous steel track receives the cold-formed steel studs, secured on each side with numbered screws through the track flanges into each stud. A minimum one-quarter-inch clearance gap is maintained between the framing components as indicated by dimension callouts.
