A thirty-two-inch long Unistrut P3256NC metal channel insert is embedded flush into the underside of a concrete pan joist floor slab. The concrete slab and pan joist dimensions and reinforcement are sized per structural plans and schedules. The channel provides a continuous anchor slot for hanging mechanical, electrical, or structural loads from the underside of the concrete floor assembly.
