A concrete slab with welded wire reinforcement bears over an acoustic mat and plywood layer supported by a dowel laminated timber floor assembly. The timber floor connects to the concrete wall via a continuous L4x4x5/16 steel angle anchored with half-inch diameter anchors at twelve inches on center with a four-inch minimum embedment. Reinforcing dowels span from the concrete wall into the slab using couplers at control joints as needed.
