A bent plate detailed per schedule is anchored with one-half inch diameter dowel bars at twenty-four inches on center with one inch of cover. A number five continuous reinforcing bar ties into the assembly near the steel beam. A minimum three-quarter inch gap is provided at the curtain wall or steel stud framing, with bypass framing coordinated per architectural drawings. The bent plate requires a minimum bend radius of one and a half times the plate thickness.
