A hollow structural section stringer connects to a structural steel beam using four L4x4x3/8 by zero-foot-eight-inch angles welded on three sides with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld. Two five-eighth-inch diameter threaded studs secure each angle to the hollow structural section stringer with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld to the hollow structural section.
