Structural steel framing connections for double bolted beam configurations occur at column flanges, column webs, and beam-to-beam conditions. The beam web plate features a minimum thickness of one-half inch, detailed with three vertical rows of bolts spaced at two inches, three inches, and two inches. Connections framing to the column flange include a one-half-inch plate at the top of the column with quarter-inch and five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds at cap plates. Connections framing to the column web incorporate a three-quarter-inch full depth stiffener plate and complete joint penetration welds where double bolted connections occur on each side. Beam-to-beam conditions feature a web plate spanning between wide flange beams with specified fillet and complete joint penetration weld symbols. All bolt sizes and quantities are coordinated per the connection schedule.
