A depressed slab transition supported by a wide-flange steel beam. The assembly incorporates number three reinforcing bars spaced at eighteen inches on center within the concrete topping. Foam infill is provided when the total concrete depth exceeds five inches. A typical deck support detail is referenced at the depressed slab condition, with variable dimensions governed by the structural and architectural layout plans.
