The assembly involves an existing roof rafter supported by an existing hip, valley, or ridge member bearing on an existing beam sized per plan. Connections utilize Simpson 1212T and 1212L connectors at each side of end posts, requiring both nail and bolt holes to be fully filled. Additional roof rafters are tied with H2.5 connectors on each side. Shoring must be installed as required during construction.
