Suspended loads on concrete floor decks are supported by cast-in-place or expansion anchors installed by the contractor. A single anchor point permits a maximum total load of 600 pounds within a four-foot length of flute. Higher load capacities up to 1,200 pounds maximum require a contractor-provided spreader section spanning multiple flutes. Where loads exceed these listed values, a custom anchorage arrangement must be submitted to the architect for review.
